The Effects of Elder`s Human Rights and the Images of the Older Persons of Adult Workers on the Perception of Elder Abuse of the Awareness£º The Moderating Effects of Age Groups and Living Experience with Elderly

Abstract
This study aimed to understand the effects of elder`s human right and the images of the older persons of adult workers on the perception of elder abuse of the awareness and to compare the perception for elder abuse depending on age groups(young and middle aged) and living experience with elderly. A survey was conducted on 200 people who are 20-60years old and live in Seoul and Gyeonggi. According to results, the perception level of elder abuse was higher(4.46) and that of elder`s human right was middle(2.98). The elderly images were followed£ºpsychological(3.18), social (2.76) and physical(2.47) one. In the results of regression analysis, the perception of elder abuse was not affected by the awareness of elder`s human right and image of elderly. However, interactive effects of moderating variables(age and living experience) were effective on the perception of elder abuse. The perception of elder abuse was positively affected by the awareness of elder`s human rights, otherwise, in the group which is middle aged and has living experience with elderly, it was negatively affected by the physical image. Based on the results, this study suggested the ways to enhance the perception of elder abuse.
